William W. (Bill) Bumstead, Chairman
Mr. Bumstead has over 30 years experience as a mergers and acquisition specialist involved in maximizing business values. He is the author of over 15 books used in the M and A industry, has served as an officer in many industry associations, and is the founder of the ABC Advocate Business Associates national network. Mr. Bumstead is also a licensed real estate broker in Texas and Colorado.
D. Ronald Allen, President
Mr. Allen has been involved in the merger and acquisition of businesses as a consultant and owner for over 25 years. He is a Certified Public Accountant and a former tax partner with KPMG Peat Marwick. Mr. Allen also is a successful investor in real estate and small businesses and has founded two public companies.
Gay Thurman, Executive Director
Mrs. Thurman is a business consultant with 25 years experience as Chief Operating Officer of her own construction and real estate development businesses. She is a motivational speaker who has appeared on television and radio. She also serves on the board of a number of non-profit corporations and has overseen a number of projects including the construction of a women’s vocational school in Rwanda, Africa.
W. C. (Bill) Robinette, Director of Manufacturing/Technology
Mr. Robinette has over 30 years experience in managing startup, rapid growth, large-high volume manufacturing businesses (one at $4B level) and turnaround challenges with Texas Instruments, Quantum, Mostek Corporation, Digital Equipment Corporation as well as founding MicroModule Systems. He has built and operated factories in Europe and had responsibilities covering the USA, Europe, and the Far East. He currently serves as Chairman of the Texas A&M University College of Science External Advisory and Development Council, and holds 6 patents in Semiconductor and Materials technology.
Patti Waterbury, Director of Enhancement Services
Ms. Waterbury is a business consultant with more than 20 years of experience leading strategic change and Mergers & Acquisition integration. Her masters degree is in Organization Development and Change Management. While at Texas Instruments, she led the HR M&A transition team, developed the M&A integration process and consulted business leaders, integration managers and consultants to align expectations and retain business value.
Teresa Laman, Director of Media Services
Teresa Laman has more than 15 years experience in the financial information and publishing industries. She has an MBA in Management and Marketing. Teresa is currently teaching business and marketing courses as PT faculty at Dallas Baptist University.
Norma Anderson, Director of Networking Services
Since 1997, Norma has provided research and strategic support for startup companies including innovative projects for marketing companies. She was the initial Corporate Secretary for an Internet company founded in 1996. During that time, she provided essential research for development and strategies for startup fundraising. During her career, she has written press releases and developed relationships with news media that resulted in worldwide press coverage. She has worked in the various aspects of sports marketing for several years.
